Tough, hi- tenacity, vented mesh and rip-stop nylon shell with ventilated soft-armor configuration. Closed-cell foam & UHMW plastic laminate armor - a level of all-round protection currently not available in dirt market. UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) plastic. 8 times more cut resistance than HDPE - more flexible than poly carb MX gear. Armor configuration similar to ProLite SnoX Tekvest - now used by more snowmobile racers than any other product. Armor does not absorb water and will provide some emergency flotation - not Coast Guard approved. Action-cut for the full range of motion that any Dual Sport, Enduro or ATV rider will experience. Built with 4" of waist adjustment and will not ride up or tap your helmet! Run it loose for greater comfort and increased airflow. Run it tight for excellent back support and "electric blanket"- type warmth for the lower back and kidney areas when cold weather riding. Compatible with most popular fanny packs. 3MM reflective piping for increased visibility when worn externally. Quick-attach Deluxe UHMW shoulder pads are available as an option. Exposed plastic panels sewn into upper shoulder - great for decals & snag-free bush bashing. Patterned after the innovative & highly successful Pure-Snow Sport Tekvest - on the snowmobile market since 1998. Can be used for snowmobiling – ISR race legal.
